Peel Test & Adhesive Bond Testing Machines
Universal testing machines with dedicated peel test fixtures for adhesive bond strength measurement per ASTM D3167, EN 1464 and ISO 4578.

Adhesive Bond Strength Testing
Precise peel force measurement for adhesives, coatings, laminates, tapes and bonded assemblies.
The Cermac TH105 Peel Test Fixture transforms any UTM-D or UTM-E universal testing machine into a dedicated adhesive bond testing system. With a maximum load of 10 kN and temperature range from 0 to 70°C, it covers T-peel, floating roller peel and climbing drum peel tests.
The fixture’s steel nickel-plated body ensures long-term durability, while the adjustable peel angle and self-aligning grips guarantee consistent, repeatable results across all major adhesive testing standards.
Peel Testing Features
TH105 Peel Fixture
Max. load 10 kN, steel nickel-plated body, temperature range 0–70°C. Adjustable peel angle for multiple test configurations.
Multiple Peel Modes
T-peel, floating roller peel, climbing drum peel and 90°/180° peel tests with one fixture system.
Real-time Force Plotting
Continuous peel force vs. displacement curves with automatic average peel strength calculation.
Temperature Control
Built-in temperature capability from 0 to 70°C for testing adhesives at service conditions.
Lap Shear & Tensile
The same UTM-D also performs lap shear (ISO 4587, ASTM D1002) and tensile bond tests.
Automatic Reporting
Pre-configured test masks for all peel standards with automatic calculations and certificate generation.
Testing Standards
Floating roller peel resistance of adhesives.
T-peel test for flexible-to-flexible bonded assemblies.
Adhesives — peel resistance of high-strength adhesive bonds.
Testing of adhesive bonds — climbing drum peel test.
Lap shear strength of rigid-to-rigid bonded assemblies.
Peel resistance (T-peel test) of adhesives.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a peel test?
A peel test measures the force required to separate two bonded surfaces. The peel force is recorded continuously and the average peel strength is calculated.
What peel test configurations are available?
T-peel, floating roller peel, climbing drum peel, 90° peel and 180° peel — all with the TH105 fixture system.
Can I also do lap shear tests?
Yes. The same UTM-D with appropriate flat grips performs lap shear testing per ISO 4587 and ASTM D1002.
What capacity machine is needed?
Most adhesive peel tests require less than 1 kN. The UTM-D (0.1–20 kN) is ideal, with Class 0.5 accuracy at low forces.
